Buildable: Our Story

We are three friends, Adam, Aravindh, and Hale. We have been working on projects to improve the construction process for a while. It was a weekend project we were doing for fun, since we have been through lots of headaches working on home renovation projects.

Then, Adam's parents' home of 49 years burned to the ground in the Palisades Fire, along with much of Adam's hometown. Even as Adam was huddled up in a hotel with his parents wondering if their house would survive the Palisades Fire, Adam's aunt Carol who lives on the border of Altadena, had to evacuate the path of the Eaton Fire. While Carol's house (which was Adam's grandmother's house before that) survived, many of her neighbors were not so lucky.

And suddenly our hobby project felt like it really mattered! So, Adam has gone part time at his job; Aravindh has dived in full time; and Hale is driving his wife and kids crazy working nights and weekends on Buildable.

We have both short-term and long-term goals for Buildable.
